In November 1998 established China – Hongkong Joint Venture Kunming Yagechen Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. incorporated with Hong Kong Yagechen.
In August 2004 Kunming Yagechen Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. was procured by Yunnan Yunyao Science & Technology Co., Ltd. with two shareholders, namely Yunnan Yunyao Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (holding 99% shares) and Dongsheng Group (holding 1% share).
